Piave River [Ponte della Priula]
| Prince Eugène with the French Army of Italy engaged less than half his number of Austrians. The Austrians were pulling back all along the Italian front intending to hold the line of the Isonzo river. In this engagement they were caught at the Piave river crossing. |
